From April 1st 2008, Humber Practice Learning Consortium became known as Humberhub.
Humberhub is an integral part of the North Bank Forum and works in partnership with other agencies in supporting the voluntary sector. We are steadfast in our intention to remain an independent body committed to being involved in shaping the future of workforce development on the North and South banks of the River Humber.
Humberhub develop Social Work Practice Learning Opportunities and have responsibility for co-ordinating the statutory placements for North and North East Lincolnshire Council.
We are working hard to maintain the positive relationship we have with you all and will continue to work closely to develop quality practice learning opportunities, ensuring that all agencies are kept informed and have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of practice learning.
Humberhub’s internal Practice Learning Assessors independently support and assess Social Work students placed in a number of agencies.
In addition, Humberhub is diversifying into new territory and working closely with Skills For Care to promote access to training and help to enhance and develop the workforce across the Humber sub Region.
As a partner of the Practice Consortium, Humberhub are involved with the delivery of a number of workshops relating to Social Work Practice, these carry a certificate of attendance which contributes to continuing professional development.
Our website provides information for anyone involved in workforce development and practice learning.
